          Cleaning Guide: Regularly vacuum or sweep your area rug to prevent dirt from getting deep into the fibers. Sweep under the rug to avoid damage from mildew or mold. Hosing down the rug is also an option. To hose the rug down, spray it off using a garden hose and allow it to dry under the sun. Turn the rug over to dry the other side if needed.
